Octopus Tactical Software creates interactive exercises and simulated operational situations, including random scenarios generated with artificial intelligence. The system then analyses results so officers can track their progress.

The Ayuntamiento de Orihuela, the local town hall, has invested €18,029 including VAT in the system. It is designed to help officers practise decision-making during high-pressure interventions, without using live ammunition.

The new tool complements the two compulsory firearms practices officers must complete each year, adding another way to train responses to potentially dangerous situations.
