The policy covers both flights and package breaks and remains in place across the seasons listed by the airline, including summer 2027, winter 2027/28 and summer 2028. It applies to customers whatever booking route they use. Jet2 says the commitment is designed to remove one possible source of uncertainty for people travelling between the UK and Alicante.
It does not mean that tickets yet to be bought will keep today's advertised price. Jet2 can still change future fares, but says a confirmed reservation will not be followed by an additional fuel levy. The announcement comes while carriers are dealing with unusually expensive fuel and reviewing their schedules.
Ryanair has separately indicated that its prices could increase by 10% to 20% during 2027. Jet2's pledge therefore gives passengers who book early a clearer idea of what their agreed fare will exclude.
