The announcement covers places for traders selling food, clothing, footwear, beauty and cleaning products, flowers, plants and craft or gift goods. The vacancies are distributed among the three markets, with the largest share located in La Aparecida, followed by Torremendo and Desamparados.
The permission for each stall will be tied to the approved activity and the allocated surface. Municipal authorisations will remain valid for fifteen years from the date established in the award decision, in line with the local rules for non-mobile sales.
Individuals and companies can take part in the process. The call follows the council’s plans to attract new sellers to markets in Orihuela and its districts, strengthening the range of services available at the weekly venues.
