The project will cover the section between Miguel Hernández Street and Avenida 19 de Abril, as well as related work on nearby roads. The planned investment is €203,289 including VAT.
The works will replace damaged water and sewage networks, renew household connections and move overhead public lighting underground. The street surface will then be rebuilt with new paving, kerbs, road markings and pedestrian crossings.
The project also provides for wider pavements where the existing layout allows and aims to improve accessibility and pedestrian movement. The current road has deteriorated after repeated leaks and failures in the supply and drainage networks.
