Alicante police detain surf coach over alleged abuse of ten German minors

A surf coach aged 46 has been detained in Alicante province while police investigate allegations involving ten German girls who were taking part in a paddleboarding session.

The inquiry followed a report from the head of a language school whose students were visiting Spain on an educational exchange. Investigators collected accounts from the girls and identified the same instructor as the person they said had behaved inappropriately during the activity.

After the police operation, the man was taken before a duty court in Alicante. He is being investigated over ten alleged offences involving minors. The matter remains in the hands of the courts, and no conviction has been issued.
